Well it seems very possible that the Bombers can beat Montreal this week at home. The bigger question seems to be whether or not Saskatchewan is motivated enough to beat Toronto. I think that if the game was to be in Toronto that there would be little motivation to win. However, this will be Saskatchewan's last home game of the season and everyone knows what a fan based team Saskatchewan is. Under these circumstances I think that Saskatchewan will have plenty of motivation to win.... or at least I hope  |

What! .... oh for crying out loud.... some other boobhead (can't remember who) was saying if the bombers don't finish first they won't get a home playoff game. Apparently that isn't the case.
So let's get this straight ....
1st round of playoffs
1st place plays 4th place in 1st places city
2nd place plays 3rd place in 2nd places city
2nd round of playoffs
winners of last round play each other in the city of the team with the higher seasonal standing
3rd round - Greycup
winners from East and West play each other in city of the team with the higher seasonal standing
Is this correct?

First place gets a bye to the Conference Final which they play at home. Second place plays a home playoff against 3rd place in each conference. (Winnipeg will play at home whether they finish 1st or second.) Winner of 2 vs 3 plays first place. Conference winners play for the Grey Cup. Grey Cup city is predetermined beforehand and may not be the city of either team. 4th Place doesn't make the playoffs. |

So....
If first place plays 4th place at first place home, then the lions will be hosting the allouettes. for the second round sounds like the riders will be hosting the bombers in a banjo triquel, if the argos start sucking large quantities of ass (likely not the case, see ya later winnipeg). bottom line, the cup is in BC, where it belongs, and where it will forever stay, that is a certainty in life... deal with it!!!
speaking of cups, Jon, ...is that a C or a D ? Looks a little unstable, maybe you need some support garments, I'll ask Jamie if he can borrow you one of his lol.

 I may have to learn a second language to figure out anything about the above post. Cubix, I'm guessing that you were frothing at the chomps to try and post something a little witty and perhaps with the help of a translator, we'll be able to decifer that one day! However, if you were to read the entire thread, you'd have figured out that there are no 4th place playoff teams and therefore, the possibilty of BC hosting Montreal in a first round playoff is impossible and probably a relief for BC fans everywhere because if they had, sure as shit, BC and their fanbase (small as it is), would be licking their wounds and wondering what could have been, when an Eastern team hoists the Grey Cup! Seriously dude, I understand that labotomies are expensive, but perhaps you wouldn't need one if you stayed away from the cheap beer. |

LOL.... well I was going to come up with something to bash Mr. Cubix's ridiculous compulsion to root for BC, but it seems Jamie has done a good job of that. So.... with regards to speaking of cups, Jon, ...is that a C or a D ?
