If you are using Windows 7 you may have found that Peter Puck has green around him. This is due to Microsoft's abandonment of the Microsoft agent. You may remember the Microsoft agent best as the little blue wizard with moon and star patterns on his cloak that would pop out an introduce the new features of Windows when you installed Windows ME, 98, XP ... etc.
I thought this was a very clever initiative by Microsoft to make computers more human like. However, they decided to abandon the MS agent with Windows 7. In fact on the first releases of Windows 7 the MS agent wouldn't have worked at all. But after outrage by certain users they decided to provide moderate support for it. However, they didn't follow completely through with this as they have not found a way to make the transparency portion of the MS agent work. Thus Merlin (the wizard) is surrounded by a purple box and Peter Puck is surrounded by a green box.
